CODE OF CONDUCT

Above all else, be kind. Whether you’re already an Astrology Niagara member, a prospective member, or a one-time workshop participant, we ask that everyone engages in a positive, kind and collaborative manner. All of our diverse experiences and perspectives get a fair place here, so please be respectful.
Negative or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

EMAIL SUPPORT

Astrology Niagara is committed to responsive customer service for all email inquiries, however, we’re staffed by volunteers, so please be patient if your email isn’t responded to immediately.
In general, we respond to all inquiries within 48 hours – this may be slightly longer if your email comes in on a weekend.

Volunteers are checking email at least once a day throughout the week according to the following schedule:
Monday through Friday – 11am to 3pm ET
Saturday and Sunday – closed (unless there is a webinar that day)

MEMBERSHIP

Membership Schedule

Your membership begins upon receipt of payment.

Subscriptions are payable annually in advance.

If you are interested in joining Astrology Niagara outside of its annual intake period in December/January, please reach out to astrologyniagara@gmail.com for the current pro-rated membership fee.
Membership Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of membership may be revised from time to time at the discretion of the Astrology Niagara Board.

For any material changes to membership definitions, terms, and conditions, members will be notified by email.

Refer to Astrology Niagara’s constitution and by-laws for current membership rules and obligations.
Astrology Niagara Video Library

Webinar recordings are housed in Astrology Niagara’s library and are accessed by members only.
Recordings may not be shared or transferred to anyone else, nor may they be published elsewhere online, including on social media or through file-sharing sites. If Astrology Niagara members have been found in breach of this, membership will be immediately forfeited and the membership fee will not be refunded.
The webinars presented through your Astrology Niagara membership are for educational and entertainment purposes only and do not constitute actionable advice from licensed professionals.

COLLECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Protection of Privacy

Some features of the website require personal information for functionality; for example, if you want to receive Astrology Niagara newsletters, you will need to provide your email address. Additionally, should you wish to become a member or apply to be a speaker, your e-mail address, as well as first and last name, are required.

Retention of Personal Information

We retain past member emails and names should they wish to renew at any point in the future, however, all this information is kept confidential and proper information and records management practices, including security measures, are maintained.

Astrology Niagara Account Creation

If you become a member, you will create an account, which will request personal information at the time of account creation, including a valid email account and first and last name from which your user ID will be created. Once this has been done you will be notified to create your own password in order to access the member online library.

Joining Astrology Niagara’s Mailing List

Individuals joining our email and newsletter lists will have their contact details stored on password-protected database (Mailchimp).

Your email is protected according to Mailchimp’s privacy act which can be found here: https://www.intuit.com/privacy/statement/. You may unsubscribe at any point by clicking the unsubscribe link in the email footer.

Membership Payments Using PayPal

Members submitting payments through PayPal should note that the collection of personal information is governed by PayPal’s privacy policy which can be found here: https://www.paypal.com/myaccount/privacy/privacyhub

COOKIES

The Astrology Niagara site automatically collects certain anonymous and non-identifiable information regarding its visitors, such as:

• The Internet Protocol (IP) address of your computer
• The IP address of your Internet Service Provider
• Google cookie ID
• The date and time you access the website
• The Internet address of the website from which you linked directly to astrologyniagara.com
• The operating system and browser type you are using
• The sections of the website you visit
• The website pages read and images viewed.
• This anonymous and non-personal information may be used for research and analytical purposes, including for system administration or for website improvements.
• This information is reflected in Google Analytics, which allows Astrology Niagara to make informed decisions about how best to evolve the website.
• You can accept, deny or manage your cookie information by using the cookie manager on the site.

REFUND POLICY

Membership Refunds

If you wish to cancel your membership, email astrologyniagara@gmail.com. Prospective members have 10 days from the time of payment to request a refund.

Once your refund request has been received, an Astrology Niagara volunteer will reply within 48 hours with a refund request form for processing. Typically, refunds will be initiated within 24-48 hours of receipt of the completed refund request form.

In general, Astrology Niagara memberships are non-refundable, particularly after you have participated in a webinar. However, if you wish to request a refund after viewing one of our workshops, the refund amount for a single event rate will be deducted from the refund amount. Transaction charges levied by the bank and/or PayPal payment gateway, including exchange rates or any other administrative fees borne by Astrology Niagara will also be deducted from your refund amount.

Your access to the Astrology Niagara video library will also be terminated.
Individual Webinar Refunds

Single-event refunds will only occur if the refund is requested prior to attending or receiving the link to the actual event.

Multiple payments made for the same order will be refunded in full (without deducting transaction costs at the duplicate payments), after keeping the cost of a single order.

Incorrect Data

Refunds are not provided for instances where the customer has furnished incorrect information, such as a mistyped email address, name, or currency. Please review your information carefully prior to submitting payment. Please make your payments in Canadian funds.

ASTROLOGY NIAGARA LIABILITY

Astrology Niagara does not warrant that the information contained on this site is accurate and complete. Except as required by law, Astrology Niagara will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost, or expense incurred as a result of any error, omission, or misrepresentation contained in this site.

Any links provided to other sites are for convenience only. Astrology Niagara will not be responsible for any loss damage cost or other expenses incurred from accessing those other sites.
